PetPace, the provider of an innovative IoT collar for remote real-time monitoring and analysis of pet vital signs and activity, today announced its integration with leading veterinary Practice Management Software vendor Cornerstone.
Cornerstone is one of the most popular and widely-adopted veterinary hospital Practice Management Software packages in the US. Practice Management Software helps veterinarians manage every aspect of hospital operations, including paperless patient health records.
PetPace, the pioneer and leader of remote IoT pet health monitoring via a smart sensor-packed collar for dogs and cats, can now easily handle data transfer between Cornerstone patient medical records and the PetPace Veterinary Web Application. This integration, available free for PetPace’s veterinary clients, reduces hospital administrative overhead and increases data visibility for veterinarians and staff.
Now, vital signs and other health-related data collected by the PetPace collar from pets in the clinic or at home is available as part of the electronic patient medical record in Cornerstone. Reports and statistical analyses, produced by PetPace, can be easily and seamlessly available to clinicians via Cornerstone as part of the patient medical history. Likewise, patient information is automatically transferred from Cornerstone to PetPace to simplify hospital usage of the PetPace system and reduce setup time.
“The integration with Cornerstone is one more step towards fulfilling PetPace’s vision of a comprehensive health monitoring ecosystem,” said Avi Menkes, CEO of PetPace. “So far we have integrated the two most popular Practice Management Software packages, together controlling more than 50% of the market, and we intend to continue on this path to bring veterinarians the most advanced and useful wearable tech solution for pets,” he concluded.
PetPace was founded in 2012 to bring peace of mind to pet owners and prevent unnecessary pain and suffering for dogs and cats through improved pet health and quality of life. PetPace specializes in the remote monitoring of pet vital signs by utilizing advanced analytical methods and alerting models. The company’s low power, wireless collar is fitted with an array of sensors that report abnormal vital signs within established physiological and behavioral parameters. Once an abnormal sign or behavior is detected, a sophisticated Cloud-based analytical engine evaluates the signs and if needed, sends an immediate alert regarding any suspected condition. This allows the owner or the vet to take pre-emptive action to protect the pet’s health. For more information about PetPace real-time pet health monitoring, visit http://PetPace.com/
