Pain Detection

How does the PetPace app evaluate the likelihood of pain and how is it calculated?

The Pain Score evaluates the likelihood of your pet experiencing pain, such as joint pain caused by osteoarthritis (OA), which is the most common cause of pain in dogs, especially as they age. The Pain Score is based on an analysis of your pet’s personal biometric baselines.

What does the low/high pain score on the PetPace app mean?

A low score may indicate that your pet is experiencing pain or symptoms of OA. A high score indicates your pet is less likely to experience pain.

When does the pain score become available to new users on the PetPace app?

Because the Pain Score requires biometric data specific to your pet, it is only available after 10 weeks on the PetPace journey.
