How does PetPace track sleep quality?

Quality sleep is essential for health and wellbeing. PetPace is monitoring sleep patterns and calculates a score for the quality of sleep on a scale of 0-100. The score is based on the amount of activity during the nighttime – the more the pet gets up and moves about, the lower the score. 

What kinds of things can affect a dog’s sleep quality and well-being?

Some movement during the night is normal and insignificant. However, dogs that wake up often, or for prolonged periods, will suffer from a reduced quality of sleep, consequently negatively affecting their wellbeing.
