AVNER SCHNEUR

CHAIRMAN

Avner Schneur is the co-founder and Chairman of Petpace. Schneur has a successful record of taking companies from early-stage to IPO, or to profitable exit.

Schneur founded Kormeli LLC – www.kormeli.com – an Early-stage technology funding group helping entrepreneurs and enterprises in their initial stage. Kormeli, invested in diverse portfolio of about 30 companies focuses on Healthcare IoT and Internet.
Schneur is also the President and CEO of GRM. A Worldwide leading Content Management enterprise www.grmdocument.com.

Prior to GRM Schneur founded Emptoris Inc, leading Analytics Supply and Contract mgt Software Company and served as the company’s Chairman, President and CEO. Emptoris transformed procurement practice by providing strong Analytics, enabling better Vendor and Enterprise collaboration and Price optimization, Emptoris was acquired by IBM in 2011.

Prior to founding Emptoris Schneur held number of executive positions in leading technology companies,
Schneur graduated cum laude in Information Systems, from the Technion and is member of the Technion Industrial Engineering Faculty Advisory Board.

PHILIP ROIZIN

Board Member

Mr. Roizin is currently the Chief Financial Officer of RUELaLA INC. multi-hundred million dollarpure play Internet retailer. From 1996-2011, Mr. Roizin held several senior positions at Brookstone Inc., a $500 million multi channel retailer, including CEO and President, EVP Operations, and Chief Financial Officer. During Mr. Roizin’s tenure, the market capitalization of this NASDQ publicly traded company increased from $65 million to $450 million, when it was then sold to a private equity consortium headed by J W Childs.Mr. Roizin headed all operations and was responsible for all financial strategic decisions, including issuing public equity and debt and banking relationships. Mr. Roizin also played an instrumental part in the Company’s Internet and Real Estate strategies.

Prior to Dole Mr. Roizin worked at Bain & Co. and Accenture, where he assisted clients in developing business strategies, IT strategies, operational efficiencies and Mergers & Acquisitions. Prior to joining Brookstone, Mr. Roizin was the CFO of the Franklin Min, a $750 million multi channel international retailer. From 1989-1996, Mr. Roizin held several senior management positions at Dole Food Co., a $3 billion Consumer Products Company, including Vice President of Strategic Planning and General Manager of Dole Beverages, a $250 million beverage division, where he had full P&L responsibility. Mr. Roizin holds an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School and a BComm from McGill University.

Lior Abraham

President and General Manager

Lior Abraham is an experienced senior manager in the high-tech industry. During more than 20 years of managerial experience Lior have led teams and organizations to successful development, deliveries, projects management and customer management.
Some of the roles Lior held were VP R&D, BU COO, EMEA Delivery Director. Lior managed in various technological domains, in different companies including Comverse, Commerce.Net , SeaSand (startup) and TTI Telecom Prior to Petpace, Lior was a consultant, business coach and managers’ Mentor. Leading managers and business owners to maximize performance and improve significantly managerial and business results.

Lior also holds a BB (Bachelor of Business) degree (Cum Laude) from the College of Management Academic Studies – Information System as major and Marketing as secondary

DR. ASAF DAGAN

CHIEF VETERINARIAN

Dr. Dagan is a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP), specializing in Canine and Feline medicine. He is also certified in veterinary acupuncture by the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (IVAS). In addition, he successfully completed advanced training in diagnostic ultrasound, laser surgery techniques and orthopedics.

Dr. Dagan graduated with honors from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine and was admitted to Phi-Zeta, the Veterinary Honor Society.

He practiced small animal veterinary medicine in large veterinary hospitals in Massachusetts, Connecticut and Israel, dealing with a variety of medicine, surgery and emergency cases.

Dr. Dagan also holds a LL.B degree (magna cum laude) from Tel-Aviv University Law School.

Oren Elimelech

Director of System Engineering

Oren is a senior development manager, Mechanical and System engineer with over 20 years of experience in a variety of industries.
Oren brings diverse technical know-how, leading Hands-on UAV development at startups as Aeronautics and Uvision,

developments, and deployment of global Cleantech mega-projects at Ormat and IDE, All a very methodology driven companies, where the common thread is Innovation.

Most recently Oren lead the R&D department of multi-sensor IoT Water quality controllers at Blue I technologies.

Oren is driven by innovation and teamwork.

Graduated as BSc in Mechanical engineering from Ben-Gurion and ME in System engineering from the Technion, Israel

Daniel Galitzky

R&D Manager

Daniel is a senior R&D manager with a proven record of more than 15 years in development and development management.

He brings vast experience in both start-ups and global companies.

Daniel has in-depth understanding and experience in development methodologies, different technologies and management of development teams. Specialize in building cloud-based large-scale platforms with the most relevant cutting-edge technologies and frameworks.

Passionate about learning, technology and people. Graduated from Haifa University – BA in Computer science and Mathematics.

Rina Schneur Ph.D.

Chief Scientist

For over 20 years Rina has led and participated in top advanced analytics organization. Combining Operations Research scientific methods with her strong modeling and management skills. Most recently Rina served as Director of Business Analytics at Verizon, Managing a group of Ph.D.s Advanced Analytics professionals who developed solutions, methodologies, models and tools across Verizon, resulted in bottom-line impact of Millions of dollars per year, as well as qualitative impact on areas such as network reliability and customer satisfaction.

While serving as the President of Informs – the largest organization for Advanced analytics professionals in the world with about 11,000 members from academia, industry and government – Rina has guided the organization through a major transition into an Advanced Analytics leader, and its board to become more strategic oriented.

Earlier in her career Rina managed an Operations Research group at Emptoris, Sabre, focusing on developing algorithms for planning and operational software products.

Rina Received her BSc from the Technion, Israel, and her MSc and Ph.D. from MIT. She published articles in few journals such as Interfaces and Operations Research, and has granted a number of patents on Auctions and Telecommunication.

Rina’s received various honor/awards throughout her career, including: Winner of Informs Kimball Medal award. Winner of 2004 Edelman award of Informs with Emptoris and Motorola for best industry application of Operations Research/Advanced Analytics with focus on impact to business; Finalist of 1991 Dissertation Prize from Transportation Science SIG of ORSA; Verizon Excellence Award, Dispatch Algorithms, 2005 and Energy Board, 2002.
