Founded in 2012, PetPace is committed to improving pet quality of life through advanced wearable technology. Our remote pet health and wellbeing monitoring solutions track vital signs and other physiological data in real time utilizing advanced analytical methods and alerting models.

 

The low-power, wireless PetPace smart collar features an array of sensors that continuously monitor dogs or cats over eight pounds in the clinic or at home. If abnormal vital signs, physiological or behavioral parameters are detected, the sophisticated PetPace cloud-based analytical engine evaluates and alerts caregivers and pet owners, allowing them to take preemptive action to protect pet health.

Avner Schneur

Chairman

Read Avner’s Bio

Avner Schneur led a number of companies from early stage to IPO or other exits. Schneur is the Founder and Managing General Partner of Kormeli, LLC www.kormeli.com an investment Group dedicated to funding and guiding early-stage technology entrepreneurs and enterprises.

Schneur is chairman and board member in a number of security and enterprise software companies. In late 1999 Schneur founded Emptoris, leading Supply and Contract Mgnt. Software Company and served as the company’s Chairman, President and CEO. On December 2011 Emptoris was sold to IBM.

Prior to founding Emptoris, Schneur was the senior vice president of operations for Vectis Corporation, a leading software vendor of electronic medical records.

Before Vectis, Schneur served as vice president and chief technology officer for Astea International, a leading developer of customer interaction software, and helped lead the company to a successful IPO.

Prior to Astea, Schneur was director of Software development at Elscint, Inc., a manufacturer of high-end medical imaging systems.

Schneur Graduated Cum Laude in Industrial Engineering, with a specialty in Information Systems, from the Technion (Israel Institute of Technology).

ABRAHAM MENKES

PRESIDENT & CEO

Avi Menkes was cofounder, President and CEO of SandLinks, an active RFID/WSN company. Under his leadership, the company developed a revolutionary very low power UWB System On Chip.

Prior to SandLinks, Mr. Menkes served as the Managing Partner of DictumBDO, an international business development company, creating business opportunities for various companies.

Prior to DictumBDO Mr. Menkes was a cofounder and Senior Vice President Business Development of eZoneX.

Mr. Menkes held senior Strategic Partnership and Business Development positions at Sapiens International and Oracle.

Prior to that, Mr. Menkes was the President and Co-Founder of Saga Management Information Systems (SMIS), which specialized in Supply Chain Execution Systems for the oil & gas and construction industries.

Mr. Menkes holds BSc in Computer Science from the University of Houston.

DR. ASAF DAGAN

CHIEF VETERINARIAN

Dr. Dagan is a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP), specializing in Canine and Feline medicine. He is also certified in veterinary acupuncture by the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (IVAS). In addition, he successfully completed advanced training in diagnostic ultrasound, laser surgery techniques and orthopedics.

Dr. Dagan graduated with honors from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine and was admitted to Phi-Zeta, the Veterinary Honor Society.

He practiced small animal veterinary medicine in large veterinary hospitals in Massachusetts, Connecticut and Israel, dealing with a variety of medicine, surgery and emergency cases.

Dr. Dagan also holds a LL.B degree (magna cum laude) from Tel-Aviv University Law School.

AMIR GANANI

Director, Hardware Development Management

Amir Ganani is an industry veteran with over 40 years experience in system engineering and project management in various fields of electrical engineering.
Amir comes to PetPace from VocalZoom, a Start-Up company that developed a unique optical sensor, where he served as the Vice President of Research and Development. For 5 years before that Amir managed projects and products for the fast storage companies Kaminario and EMC.
Amir also worked for 10 years at Cisco, managing engineering teams that played a major part in the development of Cisco’s High-Speed Core Routers. Amir arrived to Cisco following the acquisition of Pentacom, a startup company who developed an Optical Network Concentrator. At Pentacom Amir was the HW engineering manager, and after managing the hardware group of Harmonic Lightwaves in Israel for 3 years Amir spent 8 years in the silicon valley, developing High-Speed Super Computer I/O and networking systems, and different kind of appliances (Video Phones, Fax Network devices, Video compression cards, etc.)
Amir holds a BSc.EE from the Technion, Israel.

ELAD KAMINER

Director Product Management

Elad Kaminer brings over 12 years of experience in electronics engineering and project management. Before joining PetPace, he was a hardware project manager at STMicroelectronics and was responsible for developing the world’s smallest MEMS based pico-projector system. Prior to that, Elad served as a Captain in the Israeli Defense Forces, managing projects for several large multidisciplinary systems. He holds a B.Sc. (magna cum laude), a M.Sc. in Electronic Engineering and an MBA from Tel Aviv University.

AMIT LASRY

Director Software Development Manager

Amit Lasry has over 10 years of experience in software development and software team management. Before joining PetPace, he was a Co-founder and CTO at Gambit, responsible for R&D plans and development. Prior to that, he managed software teams at Supersonic and Traiana. Amit served as an Intelligence Task Force Leader in the Israeli Defense Forces. He holds a B.Sc. in Information Systems Engineering from BenGurion University.

This privacy policy applies to any and all information collected via use of the Device, Software or Services, as well as to any and all services available through PetPace’s website or otherwise provided by PetPace.

We value your trust, and therefore strive to present you this policy in clear, plain language, so you can quickly find answers to the questions that interest you. If you choose to register for an account, submit information to the Services, or otherwise use PetPace’s services in any way, you agree to our collection and use of data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Terms not defined herein shall have the meaning ascribed to them in the Terms of Service.

1. INFORMATION COLLECTION
NON-PERSONAL INFORMATION

PetPace’s Services are intended to record various health-related parameters of the animal wearing a Device. All data collected through your pet’s use of the Device (including without limitation, individual animal information, biometrics and vitals information (such as body temperature, heart rate, activity levels, respiration, positions), historical data analysis, physician connectivity and results of algorithm) is stored by us (the “Pets’ Data”) and used in order to, inter alia, provide your pet’s medical specialist with additional data and insights. Pets’ Data is non- identifiable nor shall be considered as personal information. Such information shall be deemed to be non-confidential.

Other than in respect of personally identified information (as described below), if you provide any information to us, you agree that we have unlimited rights to such information and that we may use such information in any way we choose.

PERSONALLY IDENTIFIED INFORMATION

We collect only personally identified information that is specifically and voluntarily provided by you, mainly, contact details and other login information you provide as a part of the registration process. If you choose to register or submit information to the Site, you agree to the use of such data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

2. INFORMATION USE

Non-personal information, such as the Pets’ Data is used mainly for providing you with the Services, for analysis and in order to constantly improve and maintain our Services. The Pets’ Data may also be used by us for performing future research, enhancing our products’ capabilities or for any other purpose, commercial or otherwise, and may be freely displayed, shared or sold by us, all in accordance with our sole and absolute discretion. The Pets’ Data is and shall remain exclusively owned by us and constitutes part of our proprietary and confidential information.

Personally identified information however is used for limited purposes, to which you hereby consent by accepting this Privacy Policy, including the following: to manage and administer your account; provide you with support and handle requests; to send you updates, notices, announcements, and additional information related to the Services; to inform you of material changes or additions to this Privacy Policy or our Terms, or to help prevent fraudulent use of our Services.

You may, from time to time, receive alerts and notifications to your mobile phone, tablet and e-mail regarding the data collected and analyzed via the Services. You hereby consent to the receipt of such alerts and notices as well as to PetPace sending similar notices to your veterinary physician (as indicated through the Vet ID).

Personally identified information may also be used for promotional and commercial communications. Please see below our policy on this issue.

3. SHARING OF INFORMATION

Personally identified information may be shared under limited circumstances, such as: with third party providers who are part of delivering the Services; with other third parties who assist us in operating the Services or conducting our business; to comply with a legal requirement, to protect the security or integrity of our databases or the Software; to take precautions against legal liability; or in the event of a corporate sale, merger, reorganization, dissolution or similar event.

Please note that If you send us a request (for example via a support email or via one of our feedback mechanisms), we reserve the right to publish it in order to help us clarify or respond to your request or to help us support other users.

4. COMMERCIAL COMMUNICATIONS

We would like to send you from time to time, to your mobile phone, tablet and e-mail, information related to the Services, such as updates and offers we believe you may find interesting. By providing your contact information you hereby provide your consent to receive such communications. You may choose at any time to opt-out and to not receive these communications, without a need to also deactivate your account and cease use of the Device.

Occasionally, we may share personally identifiable information, such as your contact details and Pets’ Data collected from your Pet’s Device, with selected partners and affiliates for their direct marketing purposes, in order for you to receive relevant offers, promotions and coupons regarding products for your beloved pet, including based on your pet’s health profile. If you wish not receive these communications, please select the applicable option during your registration process. Please note that PetPace do not control and shall not be responsible for third parties’ privacy policies or practices.

5. DATA SECURITY

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of any collected data, including the Pet’s Data and contact details. Nevertheless, these security measures cannot fully eliminate security risks associated with personal information. Therefore, PetPace shall not be liable for any damages caused by unauthorized access to your data and/or to any accounts.

6. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We reserve the right to modify or amend this Privacy Policy at any time and for any reason. You are encouraged to check and revisit this page as often as you wish to update yourself with any changes.
